Windsor public schools’ annual Student Art Show is currently displaying more than 100 original works of art from students in all of the town’s public schools. Running April 1 through April 26, the show features creations on display in Council Chambers and on the main level of Town Hall for all to enjoy.
At the opening reception on March 31, parents and grandparents came out to see the imagination of Windsor's students and enjoy complimentary refreshments and classical music selections from the Windsor High School String Quartet. Countless photographs were being taken of children standing proudly next to their achievements.
The Windsor Public Schools Student Art Show features artwork in a wide variety of media, including: drawings in graphite, markers, colored chalk, and pen and ink; watercolor and tempura paintings; collages; stitchery; printmaking; weaving; prints of ceramic work; and mixed media. This marks the seventh year that the art show is on display at Town Hall.
