The Stafford Community and Civic Affairs Commission hosted an Easter Egg Hunt at Heritage Park on Sunday, April 17.

Plastic eggs filled with goodies were strewn all over the open field and despite the fact that the overnight downpour had left many puddles, at the go signal, the kids charged out to gather up as many of them as they could.

The Easter Bunny was on hand for pictures, and special prizes of enormous chocolate bunnies were awarded to those lucky youngsters who retrieved the four specially-marked eggs.
