When asked for their reaction to the killing of Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden by U.S. Navy SEALs in Pakistan on May 1, people who answered the question in Lebanon and Hebron on May 3 had this to say:

Debra Anderson, Lebanon: "I was very happy, very pleased."

Brenna Anderson, Lebanon: "I think it's a step up for Obama, because he wasn't known for his military actions."

Roland Russo, Lebanon: "I'm just glad that they got him, but I'm not so happy with all of the celebrations in the street."

Gregory Allen, Lebanon: "I was happy when I heard it."

Chip Temple, Hebron: "I'm pretty sure that he deserved to die. However, it's going to cause a whole lot more tension between us and his followers."

Phyllis, Marlborough: "I'm glad he's out of the picture now. I know we have to defend ourselves, but I think a death is not something to celebrate."
