Lux, Bond & Green jewelry store robbed

According to the South Windsor Police Department, on May 4, at approximately 7:30 p.m., a robbery occurred at Lux Bond & Green, located at 243 Evergreen Way at the Shops at Evergreen Walk. During the robbery, no weapon was shown and jewelry was taken. Two customers were in the store at the time, along with store employees, but no one was injured.

The suspects were described as two black males, each in their late 20s, approximately 6’ to 6’ 2” with thin builds. Both were wearing khaki baseball caps. The first suspect was wearing a white dress shirt and tie. The second suspect was wearing a blue plaid linen shirt with a large print with three-quarter length sleeves and charcoal colored pants. After the robbery, they were both seen fleeing the area southbound towards the Manchester town line.
