Manchester High School held its senior prom at the Connecticut Convention Center on Saturday, June 4. Approximately 450 students and guests attended the gala affair, which included a pre-dinner social hour, buffet dinner, sundae bar and dancing.
Bold colors seemed to dominate the fashion, for both boys and girls, with turquoise and green solids and prints accenting the attire. While most girls wore full-length gowns, several opted for knee-length dresses. Black tuxedos in all styles were popular with the boys, although several stood out in white.
From their hair and accessories, such as hats and jewelry, it was clear that many of the boys spent as much time and effort as the girls in getting ready for this once-in-a-lifetime evening.
