On July 7-9, the residents of East Hampton celebrated their community spirit with Old Home Days, for the 33rd consecutive year.  Held primarily on the grounds between Center School and the Congregational Church, with vendor booths, entertainment and plenty of food, Old Home Days also featured the Glorious Gallop 5k race with nearly 250 runners, and a giveaway of 40 bicycles to lucky kids.

As usual, the highlight of Old Home Days was Saturday’s parade, which featured 120 units, many of which showed some interpretation of this year’s theme, Cosmic Carnival. Also as usual, East Hampton’s Citizen of the Year - who this year was Red McKinney - helped bring each of the units in the parade to life for the large crowds lining the route.
