The first Plainfield Business Association Pride Day drew a crowd of thousands on Aug. 6.

Lions Park was packed with vendors, entertainers, games and food stalls. There were pony rides, moon bounces and monster trucks for the kids. A main stage showcased a pie-eating contest, Zumba dancers and martial arts practitioners, while at the opposite end of the park, bands played all afternoon long.
