With the frigid winter weather just around the corner, the Colchester Business Network International, together with United Way of Southeastern Connecticut and Girl Scout Troop 62740, held its third annual coat drive last Saturday, Nov. 19, in the parking lot of the Colchester Hayward Fire Department. The group was hoping to surpass last year’s total of about 700 coats to be distributed to those in need across eastern Connecticut.
