The Stafford Board of Selectmen held a brief ceremony at Stafford Town Hall on Thursday, Feb. 23, to honor Stafford Youth Football League Team B. On Nov. 20, the team earned its first Northern Connecticut Football League championship title in 25 years by defeating the Colchester Cougars, 26-8, in a championship game that was hosted by Tolland.

In November, after their win, the Bulldogs celebrated their victory season with a banquet at Sun Valley, and continued the party by creating a float and participating in Stafford's Winterfest parade on Dec. 11.
