The RHAM girls’ cross-country team ended the 2011 season with a 10-4 record, finishing in fifth place at the Class MM finals at the end of the season. Among the athletes returning for 2012, junior Christine Bendzinski was an All-State runner, an All-CCC runner, and placed among the top 10 in the State Open.

Returning senior Olivia Mondo was also an All-CCC runner, as was returning sophomore Madeline Mondo.

According to head coach Mark Logan, “We hope to compete in the CCC East.” Logan feels that E.O. Smith and Tolland will provide the stiffest competition within the conference.

RHAM cross-country will be competing at the Wickham Invite on Saturday, Oct. 6, at Wickham Park in Manchester.
