The Griswold High School girls’ soccer squad is inching toward the end of its regular season, with four more matches scheduled as of press time. The team’s record stood at 3-5-4, with two of its four ties against St. Bernard and the others against Windham and Tourtelotte.

The Wolverines earned their three wins in a row at mid-season, against Wheeler, Plainfield and Killingly. The victory at Plainfield was a 2-1 win in overtime. Griswold was slated to meet Plainfield again at home this week, and to play at Killingly on Saturday. The season’s final home game will be Tuesday, Oct. 23, against Tourtelotte.
