With a sweep of Terryville on Nov. 14, the Coventry volleyball team added another mark to the win column, extended its winning streak to 21-0, and advanced to the final round of the Class S state tournament. Number-one-seeded Coventry, ranked the number one team in the state, met number-five-seeded Terryville, at Sports and Medical Sciences Academy in Hartford, and made a victory look almost effortless.
