Woodstock Recreation Director Karen Fitzpatrick walked behind a tape holding a crowd of children in place at Roseland Cottage prior to a March 30 Easter egg hunt. She gave them last-minute instructions before the hunt began promptly at 1 p.m. Roseland Cottage site manager Laurie Masciandaro, wearing a pair of rabbit ears, joined her. They counted down the seconds and let the kids loose on the lawn to collect as many eggs as they could find.

National Honor Society students from Woodstock Academy helped children craft their own rabbit ears in the barn. The annual event drew in hundreds of kids of all ages on a perfect March day.
