On Monday, June 10, at approximately 11:35 a.m., a dark-skinned black male suspect entered the Sovereign Bank, 578 Windsor Ave. The bank is located in the Windsor Shopping Center. The suspect walked up to a teller and handed her a note. The noted stated, “give me the money don’t be stupid.” The teller had just cashed out, and didn’t have her keys. The suspect started to yell in a deep, rough voice, “Don’t be stupid, give me the money.” This drew the attention of other bank employees who stated the suspect also stated, “Don’t give me a hard time, I have a gun.” The teller was able to retrieve her keys and opened her drawer. She then handed the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then walked out the bank into the parking lot across from the bank. He got into what is described as a gray or silver Ford Mustang. It is a newer model with nice wheels. The suspect vehicle was last seen traveling south on Route 159.
The suspect is described as being 5’ 9” to 6” feet tall and medium build (approximately 200 to 205 lbs). He is described as being dark-skinned, clean-shaven, with straight teeth. The suspect is wearing dark colored jeans and a long sleeved black “AK-ADE MIKS” shirt with white writing on it. He had on white baseball cap with “Obama” written in blue ink across the front. The suspect had on a pair of dark black men’s sun glasses with plastic frames. The hat has what appears to be the Presidential seal incorporated into the “O” in Obama on the front and left side of the hat. It also has a signature on the brim.
