The inter-camp Olympics has become one of the most anticipated events for kids at Vernon's many day camps. This year's event took place on July 18 at Henry Park and pitted the six camps against each other in ball-throwing, long jump, water relay and shoe relay competitions.

A tug-of-war competition was added at the end of the event, but did not count toward actual standings.

Camp Newhoca prevailed, and once again took home the trophy, but Valley Falls - one of the smallest camps, in population - was a close second.
