The Mt. Carmel Society recently celebrated its 88th Italian Festival, which was held Aug. 2 through 4. The festival featured live music by Savage Brothers Band, George Cruz & The Fabulous Galaxies, Deana Martin, Bobby Rydell and Elvis tribute performer Ray Guillemette, Jr. There were also rides, and Italian pastries from New Jersey courtesy of Carlo's Bakery, which is featured on TLC's "Cake Boss." Baker Mauro Castano and his son Buddy and daughter Dominique came to meet and greet the crowds.
