The Glastonbury Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for its annual holiday shopping event. The Jingle Bell Mingle is set to take place on Dec. 3, and visitors will be able to see what 33 local vendors have to offer.

Chamber President Mary Ellen Dombrowski said the event has been very popular and is again filled to capacity. The event is co-sponsored by WomenLead.

"Last year's event was a huge success," Dombrowski said. "People really enjoyed the shopping. It was very casual, fun and laid back. We have everything from olive oil to pants suits and dresses. Lots of people found things they were looking for, and being at The Gallery, it's right in the center of town, so it's very accessible and convenient."

Dombrowski said items geared for men and women will be offered. Shoppers are also encouraged to network and socialize. Light refreshments will be available, and The Gallery's cash bar will be in operation. The event is free and open to anyone.

The Chamber's Men of Glastonbury Calendar will also be available, and several of the models will be on hand.

The Jingle Bell Mingle takes place from 4 to 8 p.m. on Dec. 3, at the Gallery – 141 New London Turnpike.
