Celebrate a milestone
HEBRON- The Girl Scouts are 100 years old. the Douglas Library Children's Department and some local Girl Scouts and Brownie troops will present some special activities at the library.
During the school winter break, Feb. 21-24, there will be special art activities in the Children's Program room every day. (The library will be closed Monday, Feb. 20 in observance of President's Day). The public is invited to come in with a parent or caregiver and enjoy these activities.
Zenny, the READ dog, will also come for a visit on Thursday, Feb. 23, from 11 a.m. to noon, to listen to children over 6 years of age read.
The library is located on the Green at 22 Main St. in Hebron. Call the Children's Department at 860-228-9312 during business hours for more information.
