Saturday, March 10, 2 p.m.: "Caleb's Crossing" by Geraldine Brooks. The convergence and disparities of the lives of Bethia Mayfield, a Colony Calvinist minister, and the title character, a Wampanoag chieftain, form the core of this arresting historical novel.
