Blues festival

WILLIMANTIC- The 10th Annual Willimantic Winter Blues Fest will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25 from 7 p.m.-midnight at the Elks Club, 198 Pleasant St. The event will feature The Kingpins, King Cake and Gene Donaldson and the Stingrays. These talented musicians range from 40’s swing, to rootsy swamp pop, to rhythm and blues and jazz. Buy your tickets ahead of time to be sure to get in. Tickets are available in Willimantic at the Food Coop, Swift Waters Artisans Coop, and Fred’s Brickhouse or at the Mansfield Centre General Store and by calling 860-456-2188. $15 donation. Dance away those winter blues and help support the 3rd Thursday Street Fests.
