Music at the art center
MARLBOROUGH- The Marlborough Arts Center presents Gail Wade and her band Turning Point for a concert on Friday, Nov.16 from 7:30 - 9 p.m. in the Arts Center Gallery at 231 North Main Street, Marlborough. Gail Wade has been performing throughout the United States and Europe over the past 20 years and is a strong guitarist with a rich soulful voice whether singing her own music or that of other songwriters. Her diverse array of musical influences enable her to handle the transition from one musical genre to the next with a fluidity that is a hallmark of her talent. Note that this concert is on the 3rd Friday of the month instead of the usual 4th Friday at the Arts Cafe due to the Thanksgiving holiday. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m., but come early when the doors open at 7 p.m. so as to relax, have refreshments, and peruse the Gift Shop and Sleighs, Snow and Mistletoe exhibition before the show. Admission at the door is $8/individual or $15 for two. BYOWine. Coffee, tea, and home-baked goods are available.
