Pasta dinner

WOODSTOCK- Students at Woodstock Academy currently run a non-profit organization called FRESH, which stands for Family Related Effective Solutions for Humanity. It was created and is run by Woodstock Academy students and receives no funding through the school. FRESH has created a mentoring program that operates in Woodstock Middle School and it is hoping to extend that to Pomfret Community School and Eastford Middle School this year as well. In order to support these programs FRESH will be hosting its third annual Spaghetti Supper on Nov. 16 this year, and will include live-auction and basket raffles. All auction items, baskets and pasta are donated from the community. Dinner is $10 for adults, $5 for kids 12 and under as well as seniors 65 and older. Tickets can be purchased by calling Woodstock Academy, the event will be held in the Woodstock Academy Commons. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., dinner will be served at 6 p.m., and our live auction begins at 7 p.m.
