Pre-holiday auction

WINDSOR – Windsor Historical Society will conduct a pre-holiday auction on Nov. 16 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Central Street Antique Company, 25 Central St. in Windsor’s town center. Tickets are available for $25 at the Society’s offices at 96 Palisado Ave. (Route 159) and all Windsor Federal branch offices. They will be available at Central Street Antiques on auction night; call 860-688-3813, ext. 102, for more information. Hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, desserts, wine, beer and bottled water will be available. Auction committee members have solicited items including gift certificates to restaurants, creative themed gift baskets, pottery, jewelry and services. With the purchase of an auction ticket, the Society will take sealed or left bids from people who can’t be present on auction night.
