Holiday fair supports pets
GLASTONBURY - Protectors of Animals' 2012 holiday fair will take place Nov. 17 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Paul’s Hall, 40 Naubuc Ave., Glastonbury. The event will feature Christmas ornaments and gifts, holiday crafts, dog, cat toys and treats, apparel, jewelry, baked goods and raffles. There will be items suitable for hostess gifts and cookies, pies or breads to make the holiday easier and there will be gifts for your pets or animal lovers. The group is accepting donations of "new" re-gifted gifts, holiday crafts, cat and dog items to sell. These donations can be dropped off at POA’s Cat Adoption Center, 144 Main St., East Hartford.
