Thanksgiving baskets drive

SOUTH WINDSOR - The South Windsor Jaycees will conduct their annual Thanksgiving Baskets drive on Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Geissler’s market on Sullivan Avenue. The goal is to create at least 100 complete Thanksgiving dinners from all the donations. All donations will then be given to the South Windsor Human Service department for distribution to those in need. The Jaycees will accept both food and monetary donations, which would be used to by gift certificates so that recipients can purchase a turkey suitable to their needs.
