Ecumenical sservice

EAST HADDAM- On Sunday, Nov. 18 at 3 p.m. at First Church of Christ, Congregational, 499 Town Street in East Haddam, a town-wide Service will be held to revive the historic Ecumenical Service held in past years for East Haddam residents at Thanksgiving. Five houses of worship will be participating with members coming from ten, and over twelve civic organizations are involved or invited. Music will be performed by local groups and individuals, and we will also commemorate our First Responders and Emergency Management Team. Non-perishable foods will be collected for the Food Bank, and a funds will be collected for the Fuel Bank. A reception will follow with an opportunity to socialize.
