Walk for Warmth

WILLIMANTIC- The Windham Area Interfaith Ministry(WAIM) is holding its 21st annual Walk For Warmth on Sunday Nov. 18, at 2:15 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, 199 Valley Street, Willimantic. One hundred percent of the sponsorship funds go toward WAIM's Energy Program which helps families stay warm through the winter. Individuals commit a minimum of $20 to participate. Many walkers raise additional sponsorships from their friends and greater community. The walk is preceded by an Interfaith Thanksgiving Service at 1:30 at the church.
