Holiday concert

MARLBOROUGH- The Elmer Thienes Elementary School Band will perform a concert hosted by the Marlborough Arts Center, 231 North Main Street, Marlborough, on Thursday, Dec. 6 from 7 - 8 p.m. Bruce Foote is the Band Director. Mrs. Donna Arsenault is the Chorus Director. Admission at the door is $5 per family or $2 per individual. This school band concert is an event enjoyed by all and is a traditional part of the ongoing collaboration among the school, the town, and the Marlborough Arts Center. This December concert is a musical part of the Sleighs, Snow and Mistletoe Seasonal Art Show and Sale of the Marlborough Arts Center and will be held in the Art Gallery, surrounded by the seasonal art on the walls, artist-made wreaths, and the Gift Shop filled with unique gifts such as carved wooden bowls, jewelry, holiday decorations, and even Harry Potter wands, all created by regional artists. These are one-of-a kind gifts that will be for sale that evening and throughout the Nov. 17 - Dec. 20 seasonal show.
