WILLIMANTIC- The public is invited to an ACT student production of The Fantasticks at EASTCONN’s Capitol Theater, 896 Main St., Thursday through Saturday, Dec. 6, 7 and 8, at 7 p.m., with a 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday, Dec. 8. Based on the long-running off-Broadway musical, the Capitol Theater performance of "The Fantasticks" will feature students from ACT (Arts at the Capitol Theater), a public, regional, performing arts magnet high school in downtown Willimantic, administered by EASTCONN. The show is a classic musical about the innocent, youthful discovery of love, its subsequent loss, and inspired rediscovery. Regular tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and senior citizens. Contact the ACT Box Office for tickets at 860-465-5636. The Box Office is also open for walk-ups, one hour before each performance.
