Tree lighting

MANCHESTER - The Auxiliary of Manchester Memorial Hospital will also hold its tree lighting ceremony on Dec. 6 (snow date the following day), at 5 p.m. in front of the hospital. The lights, which sell for $5 each at the hospital’s gift shop, may be designated in honor of a person or special event or in memory of loved ones. Your name and the name of the person you are honoring will be posted in the hospital’s main lobby. Acknowledgement cards are available. The community is invited to join the Auxiliary for this annual tradition. The lights will also remain lit throughout the holiday season. Hot beverages and light refreshments will be served in the lobby following the lighting ceremony. All proceeds from this event will go to benefit Manchester Memorial Hospital.
