Unique Christmas Fair

EAST HARTFORD - The Friends of the Center Cemetery of East Hartford, as part of East Hartford's holiday festival, will hold a Unique Christmas Fair Dec. 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Dec. 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at South End Senior Center, 70 Canterbury St., East Hartford. The event will feature gift buying for those who are interested in genealogy, history, old burial grounds and gravestone art. Saturday activities will include hand-writing analysis and a presentation, "Australian Ghost Tours," at 2:30 p.m. On Sunday, Ruth Brown will present "East Hartford's Center Cemetery" at 2 p.m. Tarot card readings will be available both days. There will be a flea market corner with Christmas decorations and more. Historical and genealogy organizations will be represented. Refreshments will be available. FCC is looking for volunteers.
