Community forum

GLASTONBURY - On Dec. 12, The Glastonbury Youth Advisory Council will sponsor a community forum to be held at the Riverfront Community Center from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. This forum is a youth-directed event in efforts to prevent and reduce underage drinking. A catered dinner will be provided. A guest speaker will tell their personal story about their struggle with alcohol addiction. Their presentation will be followed by a question and answer youth-led panel discussion. The panel will include the guest speaker, a medical expert and a Glastonbury Police Officer as well as members of the Youth Advisory Council.
