Victorian tea

ROCKVILLE - The Rockville Community Alliance will hold a Victorian tea as part of the festivities for WinterFest 2012. There will be two seatings on Dec. 15. at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Pre-registration is required by calling Pam at 860-646-5320 or Sue at 860-872-0340. The price is $10 per person. There will be a variety of sweet and savory items, as well as varieties of tea. This is not a “ladies only” event - children age 5 and over with good table manners are welcome, and gentlemen are also encouraged to attend. Many of the servers will be dressed in Victorian costume – feel free to come dressed the same. Each person is asked to bring at least one item, such as a non-perishable food item or new or gently-used outerwear, or a monetary donation to support charitable causes.
