Memorial Hall tours
WINDSOR LOCKS- One of the most intersting and historic buildings in Windsor Locks, dedicated in 1890, Memorial Hall, is a monument to those who went from Windsor Locks and lost their lives in the Civil War.
Today it is a monument to honor all veterans of Windsor Locks who have served in all wars of our country. The site is also listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings.
To promote the historical significance of this monument, the Board of Trustees has scheduled guided tours of the building and museum. The group tours will be conducted the last Sunday of the month from 1 to 4 p.m., at one-hour intervals. The next tour is scheduled for Dec. 16, with the last tour at 3 p.m. All tours are free and open to the public.
