Genealogical research

ASHFORD - Genealogical Research at Babcock Library will be held on two Saturdays. Join Bev Brazeal and learn about areas “beyond straight genealogical research,” how to preserve family history, and how to do research that goes beyond looking up names and dates but rather try to get at understanding the people. The programs will take place on Jan. 19 with Diaries and Family Recipes from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.; and Jan. 26 with Photos and Ephemera from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., at Babcock Library/Knowlton Hall, 25 Pompey Hollow Road, Ashford. The program is free and open to the public.
