'From our troops to yours'

EAST HARTFORD - Girl Scout Troop 10894 of East Hartford will conduct a collection by which the Girl Scouts Troops of East Hartford will collect items for the Marine Corps Family Foundation. This town-wide event, " From our troops to yours," will take place Jan. 27 in front of the new CVS Pharmacy on Silver Lane in East Hartford, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The girl scout troop is collecting personal hygiene items for the service men and women abroad, and are seeking donations from members of the community. The items will be shipped to American troops in Afghanistan.
