Trivia night

ENFIELD - On Feb. 2 at 7 p.m., at Mount Carmel, 93 Park Ave, Enfield, Trivia Night will take place. First Readers recognizes and celebrates children in the community when they reach a key milestone in learning – becoming a reader. The program recognizes children in grades kindergarten through second attending school in Enfield (public, private or parochial) as well as any child who lives in Enfield that may be home-schooled or attends school out of town. Each new reader is certified using the same process and receives a certificate, medal and invitation to participate in one of the three community recognition ceremonies held each year as well as march with the First Readers in the Enfield Fourth of July Parade. First Readers is fully funded by donations from the community. This is an important event to help sustain the program for future readers and eventually expand it to promote literacy with families of young children. Gather your friends to form a team.
