STORRS- Mark your calendars: E.O. Smith High School’s award-winning Drama Club will present the Broadway hit musical "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" on Friday, Feb. 8 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 9 at 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Feb. 10 at 1:30 p.m. All ages are welcome, and shows will be in the E.O. Smith High School auditorium, 1235 Storrs Road, Storrs. Tickets are $10 for students and seniors, and $12 general admission. Directed by Lenore Grunko, the show has won multiple Tony awards since it opened on Broadway in 1961. Frank Loesser wrote the music and lyrics based on a book by author Shepherd Mead. The show stars young window washer Pierrepont Finch, who makes his way to the top of the World Wide Wicket Co. after reading the book How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Part comedy, part romance, and full of energetic dances and songs, this show is a perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day a few days early.
