An Enfield mother has an 11-year-old boy who has been playing the sax for two years in fifth and sixth grade. He is a good player and would like an instrument of his own. Does anyone have an alto sax that he can make his own? He will take very good care of it.

PROPANE REPAIR

A Suffield reader has an above-ground propane pool heater and a stand-alone deck heater that both ceased to ignite this past fall. Does anyone know who fixes propane items like this without charging the proverbial arm and leg? (The propane company charges upwards of $100 for the first half hour and probably won’t look at the deck heater.)
SEASONAL HOUSING
Posted on Jan. 10, 2012
Does anyone know of rental housing available for just a couple of months during the summer for my elderly mother and disabled sister in the Manchester/Vernon area? They would need two bedrooms. She flies up from Florida to escape the summer heat and visit with the grand kids, but we’ve all downsized and no longer have guest bedrooms available. She can’t afford much. I was thinking maybe a vacant mobile home that someone would like the income for 2-3 months’ rental, but it can’t be a lot of money since she has housing expenses in Florida whether she’s there or not.
