Colin Rajala has been a staff writer with ReminderNews since February 2012. He is an alumni of Enfield High School. He graduated in 2007 before leaving the state to pursue his education.

Denise joined the staff of the ReminderNews in January 2011. She writes for the Killingly and Putnam editions, covering towns from Thompson to Plainfield.

Town Coverage: News Department Graphic Artist

Graphic Artist Jessica Grabber joined the Reminder News in 2007 as the graphic artist for the News Department. In keeping with the newspapers visual guidelines she produces templates and corrects the photos needed by the writers for the Reminder News' 16 editions. Jessica earned a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Mount Ida College in Newton, Massachusetts.

A Nebraska native, who raised her three daughters in New Hampshire before moving to Connecticut seven years ago, Joan was an English major, with additional course work in writing for young people and in communications. After writing for Cobblestone Publications’ monthly periodicals, which included history and anthropology magazines, and working in house on features and book projects, she began writing for her local bi-weekly newspaper.

Janice Steinhagen joined the ReminderNews in February 2011 as a reporter for the Jewett City/Lisbon and Norwich editions. A veteran journalist of 30 years, she previously covered both her current towns for the Rose City Sentinel. She has also written for the Willimantic Chronicle and for many years served as its art critic. She was founding editor of the Four County Catholic, the newspaper of the Diocese of Norwich, and was a longtime columnist on its pages.
