Free course at the library
Windsor - posted Feb, 24 2011
The Windsor Public Library now offers Universal Class, with more than 500 courses covering a wide range of subjects, via the internet. Courses are free and are moderated by real instructors. Video-based lessons, written assignments and graded tests are all part of each course. Windsor citizens with an active Windsor Public Library card can take up to five classes concurrently. Classes range in subject from accounting and bookkeeping 101 to ESL basic grammar to knitting basics and many earn continuing education units. To sign up go to www.windsorlibrary.com, click on "Universal Class," enter your library card number and start learning something new. This new service is being paid through a grant from the State Library.
