If you are frustrated or intimidated by job applications that must now be submitted online, are unsure about how to use resume programs to create a perfect resume or are wondering how you can upload and attach it to your application and submit it to prospective employers, then help is now available to you at the Rockville Public Library, 52 Union St. in Vernon,
Beginning on March 15, library staff member and computer expert, Vance Brown, will be at the library every Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. to work with those who need assistance with their online job applications. Brown will schedule three 80-minute sessions every Tuesday to help applicants use the library’s resume program, prepare an introductory letter or maneuver through online job applications on the internet.
Interested participants must enroll and reserve a time slot by calling Sharon Redfern, head of circulation, technology and grants, at 860-875-5892, ext. 22.
