Miss Connecticut's Day of Confidence: 'Oh, the places you'll go'

A special day of workshops and activities for young women age 12-17 will be held on May 14 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Maneeley’s Banquet Facility, 65 Rye St. in South Windsor.
Miss Connecticut Brittany Decker's Day of Confidence will highlight several presenters, women of distinction who will share their inspirational stories of success. These inspirational women will provide interactive activities to give hope and facilitate a personal discovery to inspire, educate and encourage children. This may be a one day event, however, the important messages and life skills that young women will take away from their experience will last a lifetime.
