Chamber's annual dinner

The Windsor Chamber of Commerce will hold its Annual Dinner and Meeting on June 24 from 6 to 11 p.m. at the Hartford Windsor Marriott. The new board will be sworn in and several awards will be given to businesses and individuals in recognition of their devotion to community service. This year's theme is "New York, New York."
This year's honorees are Gary Dowgewicz and Brian Griffin for Citizens of the Year and Martin McMahon for the Hallas Award for his service to the Chamber. The Parker Award, for property beautification, is being given this year to Mohan Sachdev of the New England Veterinary Center and Cancer Care.
Director of the Year is Ray Embury. Student Entrepreneur of the Year award is going to Jonathan Hurd. The two Businesses of the Year are Community Health Resources and Day Hill Kennels for their service on the board and consistent participation and financial support of so many Chamber events and programs.
