Legends in concert

NORWICH- The Connecticut Tigers are proud to announce that Damian Brantley, who is a tribute performer portraying the late great Michael Jackson, will sing the national anthem and do a meet and greet with fans on Sunday afternoon as part of the festivities for Sunday Funday against the Lowell Spinners. First pitch for the game is at 1:05 p.m.
Brantley has always been inspired by Michael Jackson, even at a young age. A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he learned to play the piano at age eight from his father Junior Brantley, who toured with B.B. King.
Performing in the award-winning live tribute show “Legends in Concert” at Foxwoods, Brantley is a perfectionist taking two years to completely hone his talent before "wow-ing" audiences.
“Legends in Concert,” the pioneer of live tribute shows, returns to Foxwoods Resort Casino for the fifth time. The show opens on July 1 with seven performances scheduled weekly through Labor Day weekend (Sept. 4).
Tickets to the world’s original tribute show are available online at www.foxwoods.com, by calling the Foxwoods Box Office at 800-200-2882, through Ticketmaster, or in person at the Foxwoods Box Office.
The “Legends” summer 2011 production will feature shows at 8 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays through Saturdays, with Wednesday matinees at 1 p.m. and Sundays at 4 p.m.
July’s line-up includes Michael Jackson, Cher, Liberace, Elvis, and Britney Spears. In August, don’t miss The Beatles, Celine Dion, Frank Sinatra, Donna Summer, and Carrie Underwood.
