Poker Run

Hamilton Sundstrand and the Machinists Union Local 743 will present the inaugural Poker Run to benefit the United Way and Guide Dogs of America on Aug. 20 with a rain date of Aug. 27. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the ride will leave from Hamilton Sundstrand at 10 a.m. The address is One Hamilton Road in Windsor Locks.
Join the ride through scenic Connecticut for a good cause. The cost is $20 per rider or $30 with a passenger. Register by July 29 for $5 off registration. The ride will conclude with a cookout and live music by Johnny Six Gun. Free event t-shirts will be given to the first 50 registrants. Non-riders are welcome to join the after-ride celebration at the Windsor Locks Polish National Home on 1st Street for $15. Participants must be 18 years of age or older and riders must wear
