Car show

Enfield Elks Lodge 2222 at 138 North Maple St. will hold its third annual “Street Rod & Classic Car Show” on Aug. 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The rain date is Aug. 14. Admission is free. Car owners can register their cars with Bill Morgan, Jr., at 860-749-6101. The registration fee is $5. In addition to car awards, there will be raffle prizes, hot dogs, hamburgers and soft drinks. All proceeds will benefit the Elks Lodge Youth Activities fund. The fund supports activities such as the annual Hoop Shoot and Soccer Shootout competitions, children’s Christmas party, boys’ and girls’ baseball teams, Eagle Scout awards and more.
