Chicken barbecue

Stafford Fire Dept No. 1, located on Colburn Road, will hold its annual Chicken BBQ on Aug. 6 from 4 to 7 p.m. Stop by the firehouse to pick up take out or sit down and enjoy a meal of barbecue chicken, baked potato, corn on the cob, garden salad, cranberry sauce, dinner roll, lemonade and ice cream. Tickets are $12 per adult and $6 per child age 12 and under. Tickets may be purchased by calling Laurie McKenney at 860-684-4313.
