The American Cancer Society invites all community members interested in making strides to end breast cancer to the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Hartford Kickoff Celebration, set for Aug. 23 at the Hartford Plaza Hotel in East Hartford. Guests will hear from someone in the community who has been touched by breast cancer and learn more about how the American Cancer Society is making strides toward a world with less breast cancer more birthdays.
