Be part of the history

Local filmmaker Steven DePolito is looking for descendants of members of the 26th Connecticut Infantry Regiment, 1862-63, for stories and interviews to be part of his Civil War documentary featuring this unit from eastern Connecticut, and their participation in the siege of Port Hudson, La., in the spring of 1863. This project was started in November, and is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2013 to coincide with the 150th anniversary of siege of Port Hudson.
